This pretty three-bedroom Spanish-style villa has elevated views across the valley to the ancient sea port of Palamos, and the Mediterranean beyond.

The property is situated at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac, a 5 min drive from the local blue-flag beach at St Antoni, and two minutes from the old town of Calonge with it's weekly Thursday market. Calonge is well known for it's medieval Easter market and classical musical festivals throughout the summer, and it's permanent exhibition of paintings and handicrafts. There are several good restaurants within one kilometer, and there is a well-stocked supermarket within 2 minutes drive.

The area is known for it's endless white sandy beaches and secluded sheltered coves. It is one hour from Barcelona, 30 minutes from Gerona (with it's convenient airport), and some of the finest skiing in the world at Andorra (90-minute drive).

• The property sleeps six comfortably (2 king-sized beds, 2 single-beds). The second bedroom was originally 2 smaller bedrooms, now combined into 1 large room with king-size bed and lounge area. There is room for a travel-cot, and it can be divided by a curtain to form 2 rooms if required. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with hanging space and shelves.

• The well-equipped kitchen has full oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and freezer.

• Outside, the villa is surrounded by almost a quarter of an acre of Mediterranean-style garden featuring exotic palm-trees and agaves, with panoramic views to the mountains and the sea. There are shady nooks under the trees in which to eat or relax. The private pool has underwater lighting and faces south, with views to the sea beyond - providing stunning views by day, and a magical night-time spectacle.

• The property is equally suitable for early and late season, with radiators throughout. Families with younger children will be pleased to note that the garden is fully enclosed and the private pool is visible from the terraces outside and the living rooms within. The villa has off-road parking for two vehicles.
